When our client approached us with the urgent requirement to deploy six mobile masts across the Glastonbury Festival site, the complexity of the project was immediately evident: deliver robust connectivity under severe time constraints and complex site restrictions. Access was limited by event schedules, and traditional mast installations—requiring extensive groundwork and concrete curing—were simply not an option. We needed a solution that could be deployed quickly, handle a sizable headload, remain fully customisable, and maintain structural integrity in unpredictable weather and high-demand conditions.

To meet these demands, we engineered a modular mobile mast system designed for speed, resilience, and scalability. Each mast featured a steel grillage base, eliminating the need for cast in-situ concrete and dramatically reducing setup time. Pre-cast concrete blocks provided stability against wind loads without permanent foundations, while adjustable panel sections allowed for variable heights to suit site-specific requirements. With the potential to facilitate Integrated antenna supports capable of accommodating up to six interleaved 4G/5G antennas for multiple operators, and minimal assembly parts ensured ease of transport and installation. Behind the scenes, a skilled and experienced team coordinated every detail, supported by an onsite on-call engineer throughout the event to resolve any issues promptly and maintain superior customer service. Even last-minute requirements—such as additional trackway—were arranged seamlessly on the day of deployment without disrupting progress.
